For a few hours on Saturday, we got to experience some cool fall weather. It was a nice break from the 90 degree heat we've had lately. But the crisp weather wasn't all we were celebrating - Cole turned 7 last week! At his party, we jumped on bouncy slide, hunted hidden treasure and ate chili dogs at the cutest pirate party you've ever seen! It was complete with a treasure map and all! Skip & Wendy outdid themselves with the pirate theme and might have a future in party planning. But before we left, I had to get a picture of Brylee with the scarecrow and pumpkin. Nothing says fall quite like Meme's front yard! It was too perfect of a photo opportunity to pass up.
