Shower Power

Diapers? Check! Crib bedding? Check! Bottles? Check!

Shower #2 was another successful event! If there was any question what we were having, it was clearly evident from the mounds of pink decorations that this baby is a girl. My sister and Jennifer decorated my mom's house to the hilt with anything and everything girley. We had lots of great food and the weather was perfect for the outdoor patio sioree! Natalie was the master of ceremonies and kept us all entertained with cute shower games.

And to my surprise, my Aunt Bea, Uncle Randy, and cousin Carey drove all the way in from Illinois to attend! It was truly special to have them there and I can't thank them enough for all their help with the shower.

We got TONS of good stuff, and by some miracle we were able to load it all into the car and take it back to Houston. After this weekend, I'm feeling a lot more prepared for her arrival and the anticipation is starting to build.

...Now if only she'll wait for us to get moved into the new house before she comes, then we'll be set!
